IMPORTANT: rejection messages!

Dear users,

whenever we reject a post from the queue for not following certain rules, we write a short message explaining what to fix.
Every now and again, we get notified that some users don't receive these rejection messages. Unfortunately that's an LJ issue and there's nothing we can do to fix it, so please keep the following things in mind:

- Make sure that you have LJ notifications enabled.

- If a post of yours doesn't show up for a full 24 hours and you haven't received a rejection message, please submit the post to your own personal journal and send the link to a sales mod of your choice. We will gladly check your post for anything that needs fixing before you're submitting it to the community itself.

- If you broke a rule with a post and it was rejected, yet you haven't received a rejection message, please do not simply submit the same post again. You are risking getting a second warning for the same thing. Not receiving a rejection message does not automatically mean that you didn't break a community rule and that everything is fine. Please check back with a mod to make sure that your specific post is okay and a post that never showed up got in fact lost through an LJ glitch before submitting an unfixed post again. It is very rare that a post gets lost, in 9 out of 10 cases your post got rejected for breaking a rule.

We know that posting for the first time here on LJ can seem rather complicated. If you have troubles understanding a rule or if you're not sure if your post is okay, please don't hesitate to contact one of us :) We'll be happy to assist you in creating a post that will make it through the queue in no time.
